Our Story
Since 2010, Café O has been a family-owned and operated roastery and bakery in the heart of Kitchener, Ontario. What started as a passion for great coffee has grown into a beloved community gathering place.
Our mission is simple: create a comfortable atmosphere where guests can enjoy a great tasting sandwich, delicious coffee and decadent desserts. We believe in quality with every bite and every sip.
With roots in the local Romanian-Canadian community, we bring warmth, hospitality and a desire to build connections into everything we do.
Every bean is hand-selected and roasted in small batches right here in our Kitchener roastery. From breakfast to lunch, our kitchen prepares everything fresh daily.

The Roaster
Every bag of beans we sell is roasted right here in our Kitchener roastery. We source single-origin green beans from Brazil, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Guatemala and more, then roast them in small batches to bring out the best flavour profile.
From smooth medium roasts to bold darks, we offer a range of varieties depending on the coffee bean growing season, plus flavoured options like Irish Cream, Hazelnut, Macadamia Nut and Vanilla Bean. Whether you're brewing at home, stocking your office or running a restaurant, our beans are always fresh and roasted to order.

Cafe and Bakery
Our baristas craft espresso-based classics, specialty lattes like Ferrero Rocher and Salted Caramel, chai, matcha, golden lattes and more, hot, iced or blended. Every morning, fresh croissants, scones, cookies and muffins are ready for you.
For lunch, we prepare hearty sandwiches, gourmet paninis pressed to order, fresh salads and a daily homemade soup. Everything is made with quality ingredients, no shortcuts, no day-old pastries.
More than a coffee shop, Café O is a gathering place. A spot to catch up with friends, get some work done or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.

Our Services
We bring the Café O experience beyond our doors. Our business supply program supplies fresh-roasted beans to offices, hotels and retail spaces across the Tri-Cities, with flexible delivery and custom blends available.
For special occasions, we offer event catering with full coffee bar setups and food platters for corporate events, private parties and community gatherings. Our wedding packages include custom coffee bars, dessert tables and on-site barista service to make your big day unforgettable.
